OPINION AND ORDER

LAKE, District Judge.

Six days after she turned fifteen, Christie Chauviere was robbed, sexually assaulted, and stabbed to death in her home. A jury in the 23rd District Court of Brazoria County found Gary Wayne Etheridge guilty of her capital murder and concluded that he had deliberately killed Christie and that he posed a continuing threat to society.
