Introduction

This is an employee benefits dispute governed by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, 29 U.S.C. § 1001,

et seq.

(“ERISA”). It concerns defendant Metropolitan Life Insurance Company’s (“MetLife”) decision to deny accidental death benefits to the estate of Brenda Sangster.
