LOKEN, Circuit Judge.

Former St. Louis Police Officer Reginald Chandler appeals his conviction for unlawful distribution of crack cocaine and for possession of crack cocaine and heroin. The possession charges were based upon narcotics found during a warrantless search of a duty bag Chandler left in the police station when he was suspended without pay for suspected drug trafficking.
