Defendant, Vytenis E Kirvelaitis, was charged with two counts of driving while under the influence of alcohol (625 ILCS 5/11 — 501(a)(1), (a)(2) (West 1998)), and he was also ticketed for speeding (625 ILCS 5/11 — 601(b) (West 1998)).
