Plaintiff Janel Russell Designs, Inc. is the assignee of a copyright in a “Mother and Child” design that has been incorporated into various pieces of jewelry. Plaintiff brings a claim of copyright infringement against defendant Mendelson

Associates, Inc. for its sales of an allegedly infringing piece of jewelry.
