Susan Gerhart sued Edward Hayes, Glenn Goerke, James Hale, and William Staples following her termination from the University of Houston’s Research Institute for Computing and Information Systems (“RICIS”). The defendants appeal the denial of their motion for summary judgment on the basis of qualified immunity.
