KANNE, Circuit Judge.
Robert Bailey, a cadet with the Village of Maywood (Ill.) Park District Police Department, joined other police officers in an attempted robbery of a drug-dealer. The “drug-dealer” proved to be part of an FBI sting operation, and Bailey had succeeded only in attempting to rob an undercover FBI agent. Bailey was convicted of attempted robbery.
