¶ 1. This case comes from the Circuit Court of Coahoma County, Honorable Judge Elzy Jonathan Smith Jr. presiding. On July 31,1997, Lewis Curtis plead guilty to the crime of sale of a controlled substance and was sentenced to serve six years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections and five years post-release supervision.
