On June 19, 1997, Carol Goodwin rented a 1988 Dodge automobile from defendant Save-A-Buck Car Rental Company, Inc. (“Save-a-Buck”). On the following day, Goodwin was involved in an auto accident while driving the rental vehicle within the state of Ohio.
