Isidro Renteria, as next friend of Gustavo Renteria, sued Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (“Wal-Mart”) and Paul Sanchez for damages Gustavo sustained while attempting to light a corn roaster located on Wal-Mart’s premises. Wal-Mart appeals the judgment rendered in favor of Gustavo based on a jury verdict.
