¶ 1. Rex Harris, father of Ashley Harris, filed a complaint on behalf of his minor *Page 1268 daughter against McClatchy Planting Company and Amanda Ellis for personal injuries she sustained in an automobile accident. At the conclusion of the trial, the jury awarded Harris $25,000 in damages. Harris filed a motion for additur, or in the alternative a new trial.
