OPINION OF THE COURT

YOUNG, Chief Judge:

The appellant pled guilty in a special court-martial to wrongfully using ecstasy (3,4 methylenedioxymethamphetamine), a Schedule I controlled substance. Article 112a, UCMJ, 10 U.S.C. § 912a. The convening authority approved the sentence announced by the military judge: a bad-conduct discharge, confinement for 3 months, and reduction to E-l.
