This is a direct appeal from a sentence imposed pursuant to a guilty plea. The offense of conviction was possession of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a). The defendant was sentenced as a career offender under U.S.S.G. § 4B1.1, and he appealed. Defense counsel regarded the appeal as frivolous and moved to withdraw.
