ON WRIT OF CERTIORARI ¶ 1. Weber Energy Corporation ("Weber") and Shipley Production Company ("Shipley") executed an agreement to explore certain land in Texas for oil and gas. Shipley sold shares of its interest to various Mississippi Investors ("Investors"). The exploration was unsuccessful and the venture incurred substantial cost overruns.
