Thomas Peiffer pleaded guilty in the circuit court of St. Louis City to tampering

in the first degree in violation of section 565.070.

He subsequently pleaded guilty in the circuit court of St. Louis County to stealing in violation of section 570.030. The parties agree that both crimes involved the taking and possession of the same 1999 Saturn automobile.
