Plaintiff, Sylvia Poullette, brought this action against defendant, Ira Silverstein, alleging legal malpractice in the preparation of a will and trust for her mother, Pearl Dopp. The trial court dismissed the complaint as time-barred by section 13 — 214.3(d) of the Code of Civil Procedure (the Limitations Act or Act) (735 ILCS 5/13 — 214.
