Defendant, Demetrius Wilson, appeals from his conviction of murder (720 ILCS 5/9 — 1(a)(1) (West 1996)). We affirm.

A jury found defendant guilty of one count of murder and four counts of armed robbery (720 ILCS 5/18 — 2(a) (West 1996)).
