ORDER DENYING DEFENDANT’S MOTION TO DISMISS

KENT, District Judge.

Plaintiff James Corsair (“Corsair”) brings this action against Defendant Stapp Towing Co., Inc. (“Stapp”) seeking to recover damages pursuant to the Jones Act, 46 U.S.CApp. § 688(a), and the general maritime law of the United States, for injuries he allegedly sustained while working on board Stapp’s vessel, the MTV STARFISH.
