The appellant, Erin Manhardt, individually and as next friend and parent of Christopher Manhardt, a minor, brought this medical malpractice action against the appellees, Shameem Tamton, M.D., Christopher’s pediatrician; Susan W. Short Pediatrics, P.A., Dr. Tamton’s employer; Naples Community Hospital, Inc.
