This is an original proceeding in mandamus. The State of Texas, Relator, seeks a writ of mandamus requiring the Honorable Bonnie Rangel, Judge of the 171st District Court of El Paso County (Respondent), to vacate an order permitting William Dean Gray or his representatives to search the records and property room of the El Paso Police Department.
