OPINION. {¶ 1} James Parker was found guilty of domestic violence by a jury in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas and was sentenced accordingly. He appeals from his conviction. {¶ 2} The state's evidence established the following facts. {¶ 3} In February of 2002, Parker was involved in a romantic relationship with Melissa Rue.
