OPINION. {¶ 1} Plaintiff/Appellant/Cross-Appellee Joseph Avery and Defendant/Appellee/Cross-Appellant Virginia Avery were married for approximately fifteen years and have one minor child, William, born during the marriage. The trial court issued its final judgment and decree of divorce on August 16, 2001. Both parties appealed from that judgment.
