OPINION. {¶ 1} Appellant, Patricia Ann Newsome, appeals from a final judgment of the Portage County Court of Common Pleas denying her motion for permanent custody and awarding legal custody of her minor son, Christopher Walther, to the child's paternal grandmother, Nancy Brown ("Brown"). For the reasons that follow, we affirm the judgment of the trial court.
