Marilyn Dedmon filed a First Amendment retaliation action against Carolyn Staley, the Pulaski County Circuit Clerk, alleging that Staley terminated her in retaliation for reporting that one of her coworkers was stealing witness fees. The jury returned a verdict in favor of Staley, and Dedmon filed a motion for a new trial, which the district court

denied.
