Bechtel National, Inc. (Bechtel) filed a claim for $4,707,922 as equitable adjustment to its contract with the Air Force. After the contracting officer denied the claim, the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals awarded Bechtel just $7,344 plus interest because a release in Contract Modification No. P00034 (Mod P00034) precluded full recovery.
