NELSON, Circuit Judge.

The central issue in this appeal is whether the district court erred in granting summary judgment for the defense on a claim of conversion asserted under Tennessee law. Unlike the district court, we are not persuaded that the conversion claim is barred by a release that the plaintiff executed before the claim had accrued.
