Scott Emerton and Kristi Emerton sued Kenny Williford and Charlotte Williford, individually and d/b/a Ben-Mor Village, in the Chambers Circuit Court. The dispute involved the lease-purchase of a mobile home. After a jury rendered a verdict in favor of the Emertons, the trial court entered a judgment awarding them $383,000 in compensatory and punitive damages.
