RULING ON DEFENDANT’S MOTION FOR A NEW TRIAL

UNDERHILL, District Judge.

On November 5, 2003, a jury convicted Reynaldo Arroyo of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1). Following the verdict, Arroyo timely filed a motion for new trial, pursuant to Rule 33 of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure.
