On November 6, 2001, the Jefferson Parish District Attorney filed a bill of information charging defendant, Rendell Washington, with possession with the intent to distribute marijuana within' 1,000 feet of Kenner Drug Free Zone #11, in violation of La. R.S. 40:981.3. Defendant pled not guilty and filed several pre-trial motions.
