ORDER

Fourteen former employees of LaSalle Steel Company sued LaSalle and the Progressive Steelworkers of Hammond, Local 783, after losing their jobs in a labor dispute. The Union had voted to strike in May 1998 as a result of LaSalle’s proposal to introduce a new pay scale that provided lower wages to new employees.
