{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant, Lawrence Ladson, was indicted, along with his girlfriend, Deshanta Lee, for beating Ladson’s five-year-old daughter, Samaria. Ladson pleaded guilty to endangering children, in violation of R.C. 2919.22(B)(3), and to felonious assault, in violation of R.C. 2903.11(A)(1).
