Dissatisfied with a drug transaction, defendant Glen S. Alebord and Timothy L. Braley went looking for the dealer. When Braley shot and killed a man in the venture, Braley and the defendant were both charged with murder in the first degree.1 A jury convicted the defendant of the lesser included offense of murder in the second degree as a joint venturer.
