In this interlocutory appeal,

appellant, CHCA Mainland L.P. doing business as Mainland Medical Center (“Mainland”), challenges the trial court’s January 25, 2006 order denying its motion to dismiss the health care liability claim of appellees, James M. Burkhalter, individually and as independent executor of the estate of Glenda Burkhalter, deceased, and Jamie N.
