Beginning in 1996, plaintiff Linda A. Stark became an equity partner in defendant law firm, Molod Spitz DeSantis & Stark,

EC. (now Molod Spitz & DeSantis). In 2000, plaintiff withdrew as an equity partner and became a contract partner under the terms of an employment agreement that she negotiated with the firm.
