On October 11, 2005, pro se plaintiff Jermaine Simmons (“Simmons”) filed this action against his employer, defendant The G.E.O. Group, Inc., d/b/a Rivers Correctional Institution (“GEO”). Simmons, an African-American male, contends that his employer violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e, et seq.
