Introduction

Luis M. Roman (“Roman”) brings this action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. He alleges that the defendants violated his constitutional rights under the Eighth and Fourteenth Amendments by refusing to allow him to visit his wife on her deathbed or attend her funeral.
