OPINION {¶ 1} Defendant-appellant Isaac Talley appeals his sentence and conviction on one count of assault of a corrections officer entered in the Richland County Court of Common Pleas following a jury trial. {¶ 2} Plaintiff-appellee is the State of Ohio. {¶ 3} This is an accelerated calendar case, submitted to this Court on the record and the briefs of the parties.
