OPINION *Page 2 {¶ 1} Defendant-appellant James M. Scales appeals the judgment of the Van Wert County Court of Common Pleas. For the reasons that follow, we affirm the trial court's judgment. {¶ 2} On November 4, 2005, the Van Wert County Grand Jury indicted Scales for Aggravated Murder in violation of R.C. 2903.01(B) in Case No. 05-11-143.
