MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

INTRODUCTION

Mr. Sommerfield, a Chicago police officer, alleges that members of the Chicago Police Department (“CPD”) discriminated against him because of his religion and national origin and retaliated against him after he complained of the discrimination, all in violation of 42 U.S.C. §§ 1981, 1983 and 2000e, et seq.
