This franchise liability case arises out of Plaintiff Christopher Triplett’s assertion that he contracted Legionnaires’ disease from his exposure to bacteria at a Sheraton hotel. Defendants Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (“Starwood”) and The Sheraton, LLC (“Sheraton”) moved the court for an order granting summary judgment in their favor.
