Preston Louis Moore was convicted of one count of murder made capital because it was committed during the course of a burglary, a violation of § 13A-5-40(a)(4), Ala.Code 1975, and of two counts of attempted murder, violations of §§ 13A-6-2 and 13A-4-2, Ala.Code 1975.
