OPINION {¶ 1} Lamar Lenoir appeals from the trial court's denial of his R.C. 2953.21 petition for post-conviction relief. In his sole assignment of error, Lenoir contends the trial court erred in denying the petition without first conducting an evidentiary hearing. {¶ 2} A jury convicted Lenoir of murder in 2006.
