Respondent-appellant Marubeni America Corporation (“MAC”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Marubeni Corporation, challenges a June 2, 2008 order of the District Court granting the application of petitioner-appellee LBA Y.K. (“LBA”) for discovery, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1782, to produce evidence for use in LBA’s suit against Marubeni in Japan.
