Brandon Deon Mitchell appeals his four capital-murder convictions and his sentences of death. Mitchell was convicted of three counts of capital murder for taking the lives of Kim Olney, John Aylesworth, *977and Dorothy Smith during the course of a robbery. § 13A-5-40(a)(2), Ala.Code 1975.
