On April 20-28, 2009, this Court heard evidence on the plaintiffs damages stemming from the Federal Government’s failure to discharge its contractual obligation under the Standard Contract entered into between the Department of Energy (DOE) and the plaintiff utilities to begin acceptance and permanent storage of spent nuclear fuel (SNF) and High Level Waste (HLW).
