{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant, Dustin West, appeals his conviction in the Butler County Area I Court for leaving the scene of an accident.

{¶ 2} In September 2009, appellant was charged with leaving the scene of an accident in violation of R.C. 4549.02 (other charges against appellant were later dismissed).
