OPINION

Petitioners seek a writ of prohibition preventing Respondent, the Kayenta District Court, from exercising jurisdiction over claims in negligence filed against Petitioners arising from a motor vehicle accident occurring within the Navajo Nation on U.S. Highway 160 west of the Township of Kayenta, Arizona. Petitioners are nonmembers of the Navajo Nation.
