OPINION

TERRY McCALL, Justice.

In Cause No. 11-09-00263-CR (Trial Court Cause No. CR19974), the jury convicted Jamar James Render of aggravated assault. The jury assessed punishment, enhanced by a prior felony conviction, at confinement for fifteen years. In Cause No. 11-09-00268-CR (Trial Court Cause No. CR19973), the jury convicted appellant of manslaughter.
