In this action, plaintiff Missy Chase Lapine seeks damages from defendant Jerry Seinfeld for slander. Plaintiff also seeks damages from defendant HarperCollins Publishers, Inc. (HarperCollins) for breach of implied contract and for misappropriation and unfair competition.
