Renew Energy LLC filed for bankruptcy relief under chapter 11 on January 20, 2009. On July 1, 2010, a plan was confirmed, which vested U.S. Bank National Association (“trustee”) with the right to administer all remaining assets of the debtor, including any funds recovered through preference claims.
